The Sports Network - Major League Baseball: "Joe Blanton aims to continue a month-long stretch of quality starts when the Oakland right-hander leads the Athletics into the second test of a three-game series with the Toronto Blue Jays tonight at McAfee Coliseum.

Blanton went 3-1 with an impressive 1.58 earned run average in six starts during the month of June and yielded three or less runs in each of those outings. The right-hander also limited opposing hitters to a .200 batting average over that span and surrendered only one home run in 45 2/3 innings of work."
