globeandmail.com: Accardo saves the day: "The lengthy scoreless streak put together by Toronto Blue Jays closer Jeremy Accardo is a distant memory. More important, so, too, it appears, is the way that streak ended.

Accardo recorded the final four outs of the Blue Jays' 5-4 win over the Minnesota Twins last night at the Metrodome, including a strikeout of Jason Bartlett with runners on first and second to end the eighth. Accardo set down the meat of the order in the ninth on just seven pitches, getting Joe Mauer, Michael Cuddyer and Torii Hunter to ground out."
