TheStar.com - Sports - Decision day for Blue Jays

TheStar.com - Sports - Decision day for Blue Jays: "With seven picks in the first two rounds, the Jays are feeling a little more anticipation than in the past few years for the major league entry draft tomorrow and Friday.

Toronto, the leading selector of college talent among major league teams between 2004-06, is expected to break slightly from pattern and take a high school player with at least one of its high-round selections.

In a draft which Vanderbilt pitcher David Price is the consensus No. 1 pick overall, Jays management has already indicated the possibility of taking a high school position player. With the 16th and 21st picks in the first round, the draft could see Toronto opting for a player like Nick Noonan, an offensive infielder from Parker High School in San Diego."
