Dodgers Unload on Blue Jays: "Bleak skies followed the Los Angeles Dodgers north of the border Tuesday.

With two pitchers slotted for surgery, an offense that had scored five runs or more only twice in the past nine games and a road record of 1-20 in interleague play the last three years, it seemed Los Angeles was going to be under the weather for quite some time. On top of all that, Blue Jays starter Dustin McGowan had held the Dodgers to two runs during his seven-inning outing against them just 11 days earlier.

But less than a half-hour before the first pitch was thrown, the Rogers Centre roof opened. The thunderstorm that pounded the roof during batting practice had passed, and the sun shined down on the visitors."
