TheStar.com - Sports - Glaus blast lifts Jays past Orioles: "At times this season, the Jays offence has shown itself capable of piling up big numbers. It has been incapable of scoring them when the team finds itself in a hole.

Not once this season had the Jays come back to win after trailing by three runs or more, but last night, that streak was snapped. After giving up three runs in the first three innings, Toronto pecked away at Baltimore Orioles starter Erik Bedard.

With the score tied 3-3 in the eighth, a returning Troy Glaus banged a two-run homer off hapless reliever Denys Baez.

The 5-3 comeback victory had manager John Gibbons touting the character of his club."
