TheStar.com - Sports - Shoulder strain nixes Burnett's next start

TheStar.com - Sports - Shoulder strain nixes Burnett's next start: "A.J. Burnett will miss his next start for the Blue Jays, but is not expected to suffer any other ill effects after being pulled early from Tuesday's game against the San Francisco Giants.

An MRI scan taken at a local hospital revealed only 'a mild strain' in Burnett's sore throwing shoulder.

'He doesn't have to go on the (disabled list), we don't think,' manager John Gibbons said.

Josh Towers will now start in place of Burnett on Sunday against the Washington Nationals."
